Ban Chung
Wing Chun of the Cho Family is taught from a traditional ‘authentic’
standpoint. Ultimately, this means that traditionally, there is
NO grading curriculum within this system. Students will
progress at their own rate and only when they can adequately
demonstrate what they have been taught from the class before. The
rate at which the students learn and progress within the system, is
ultimately down to whether the student trains what he/she has been
taught in the class environment, at home. Self-practice is a
critical learning tool as it gives the student time to
reflect on what has been taught, analyse their own body movement,
shape and foundation and learn to apply their imagination to all
the techniques, combinations and forms.
